The new professional rotary hammer GBH 2-18 from Bosch, weighing only 1.9 kilograms is up to 25 percent lighter than comparable 2-kilogram rotary hammers. What's more, with a length of just 316 millimeters it is the shortest pistol-shaped rotary hammer on the market. Ergonomic design combined with softgrip surfaces on the handle and on the gear housing also make the tool easy to use.

Despite its low weight and small size, the GBH 2-18 is superior in drilling performance to many competitor models. This excellent performance is attributable to the 550-Watt motor and no-load speed of 1550 revolutions per minute. This allows for fast drilling in masonry and concrete with the most common drill bit diameters. The electro-pneumatic hammer mechanism offers single impact energy of 1.7 Joules. This makes the machine ideal for drilling fixing holes up to 10 millimeters in diameter.
